Here are some of the most common questions we get asked, but if there is a question you have which is not answered here please contact us:
What are your charges?
Our pricing is simple, straightforward and competitive.
We will come out to inspect the job and provide you with a free, no obligation estimate on all work, no matter how small.
If you have a larger project or a number of jobs you want completing at the same time, the estimate price will be based on a discounted rate.

For call outs, we do not charge a call out fee – instead there is a minimum charge of £35 which covers the first hour. We then charge for each additional 30 minutes thereafter (and not full hours as some companies do) so that you are only paying for the time we are working on your property.

What about materials?
Some jobs will only require minimal materials, such as a few screws, plaster board or standard fittings and this will be indicated on the quotation. However, if you have a specific fitting in mind or would like us to recommend some fittings as part of a lighting design project for instance, then we are more than happy to do this and can arrange the ordering and delivery.

Do your prices include VAT?
We are not VAT registered and therefore VAT is not applicable and is not an extra cost that you have to consider.
Quality and Safety
What qualifications and experience do you have?
We are fully qualified electricians with over seven years' experience and have trained with City and Guilds to the latest 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. All work undertaken is completed to the BS7671:2008 British standard.

Are you registered with an electrical inspection body?
Yes. We are approved contractors with NICEIC, who are one of the leading national certification bodies for electrical installers.

Are you insured?
Yes, we have £2m public liability insurance and as approved contractors with NICEIC all our work is covered by a six year insurance backed warranty of up to £25,000 for any one installation.
How quickly can you come out?
We do not offer an emergency call out service. We aim to be with you within 1 or 2 days; at a time that is convenient for you. We can sometimes manage a same day service depending on the working currently being completed.

Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes. We can come out in the evening between 6pm-8pm and on a Saturday at no additional cost.

What areas do you cover?
We cover the South Manchester area including: Altrincham, Timperley, Hale, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Stockport, Bramhall, Hazel Grove and Poynton.

How can I pay?
We accept cash, cheque and BACS transfers. We are also able to offer credit terms to regular commercial customers.
